This compact fluorescent torchiere from Globe Electric delivers a bright 4,000 lumens of warm white light using an energy efficient 55 watt circular compact fluorescent lamp. The fixture has a nickel finish with an alabaster glass shade. Unlike many torchieres with a solid bowl in which all the light is directed upward, with this torchiere light can pass through the glass bowl, allowing light to be distributed outward as well as upward. The torchiere is also dimmable, allowing for increased electricity savings when full light is not required. The bulb is rated to last for 10,000 hours. The torchiere stands 72 inches high, and weighs 19 pounds.
